Services<\/h2>\n<p>Nordisys provides digital services including, but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>WordPress website design and development<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>WooCommerce online store setup and customization<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Website redesigns<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Website speed optimization<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>SEO setup and technical SEO improvements<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Website maintenance and updates<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Website fixes and troubleshooting<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Custom forms, booking systems, integrations, and workflow setup<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The exact scope of each project will be agreed separately in writing, usually by email, proposal, invoice, or project brief.<\/p>\n<h2>3. Quotes and project scope<\/h2>\n<p>All quotes are based on the information available at the time of quoting.<\/p>\n<p>A quote may include details such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>project goals<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>number of pages<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>design requirements<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>features and functionality<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>content requirements<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>third-party tools or integrations<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>timeline<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>payment terms<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Any work outside the agreed scope may require an additional quote or separate approval before being completed.<\/p>\n<p>Nordisys may suggest a different technical approach if it is better for performance, reliability, usability, or long-term maintenance.<\/p>\n<h2>4. Pricing and payments<\/h2>\n<p>Project prices are agreed before work begins.<\/p>\n<p>Unless otherwise agreed, projects may require an upfront payment before work starts. Larger projects may be divided into milestones.<\/p>\n<p>Payment terms will be shown on the invoice or agreed in writing.<\/p>\n<p>Nordisys may pause work if payment is late or if required materials, feedback, access, or approvals are not provided by the client.<\/p>\n<p>All prices are quoted in euros unless otherwise stated.<\/p>\n<h2>5. Client responsibilities<\/h2>\n<p>To complete the work properly, the client must provide accurate and timely information, including when needed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>website access<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>hosting access<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>domain\/DNS access<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>content, images, logos, and brand materials<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>product information<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>business details<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>feedback and approvals<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>third-party account access or API details<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The client is responsible for ensuring that any materials they provide, including text, images, videos, logos, fonts, and documents, can legally be used on their website.<\/p>\n<p>Nordisys is not responsible for delays caused by missing content, late feedback, unavailable access, third-party issues, or changes requested after approval.<\/p>\n<h2>6. Project timeline<\/h2>\n<p>Estimated timelines are provided in good faith. Actual delivery may depend on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>project size and complexity<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>client feedback speed<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>availability of content and materials<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>third-party services<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>hosting or technical issues<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>requested revisions or changes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nordisys will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed deadlines, but a timeline is not guaranteed unless explicitly confirmed in writing.<\/p>\n<h2>7. Revisions and changes<\/h2>\n<p>Each project includes reasonable revisions based on the agreed scope.<\/p>\n<p>A revision means an adjustment to work already agreed, not a new feature, new page, new design direction, or new project requirement.<\/p>\n<p>Additional changes may require extra time and additional cost.<\/p>\n<h2>8. Website content<\/h2>\n<p>Unless agreed otherwise, the client is responsible for providing final text, images, videos, product data, legal content, and other website materials.<\/p>\n<p>Nordisys may assist with basic content formatting, layout, and structure, but professional copywriting, legal writing, translation, photography, and product data entry are not included unless agreed separately.<\/p>\n<h2>9. Third-party services and tools<\/h2>\n<p>Websites may use third-party services such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>WordPress<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>WooCommerce<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>hosting providers<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>domain registrars<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>payment gateways<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>plugins<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>themes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>analytics tools<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>email marketing tools<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>booking systems<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>security and backup tools<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nordisys is not responsible for changes, downtime, pricing changes, errors, limitations, or policies of third-party services.<\/p>\n<p>The client is responsible for paying any third-party costs unless otherwise agreed.<\/p>\n<h2>10. Plugins, themes, and licences<\/h2>\n<p>If a project uses paid plugins, themes, fonts, stock assets, or third-party software, the cost and licence responsibility will be agreed separately.<\/p>\n<p>Unless clearly agreed otherwise, the client is responsible for maintaining valid licences after the project is delivered.<\/p>\n<p>Nordisys may use free, paid, or client-provided tools depending on the project requirements.<\/p>\n<h2>11. Website launch and approval<\/h2>\n<p>Before launch, the client should review the website and report any issues, corrections, or missing content.<\/p>\n<p>Once the client approves the website or the website is published, the project may be considered delivered.<\/p>\n<p>Minor post-launch fixes may be included if they relate to the agreed project scope. New requests, new features, redesigns, or content changes after launch may be billed separately.<\/p>\n<h2>12. Maintenance and support<\/h2>\n<p>Maintenance services may include updates, backups, security checks, small fixes, speed checks, and support, depending on the selected plan or agreement.<\/p>\n<p>Maintenance does not automatically include major redesigns, new features, malware recovery, large content updates, custom development, or third-party service costs unless agreed separately.<\/p>\n<p>If the client makes changes directly to the website or allows third parties to modify the website, Nordisys is not responsible for issues caused by those changes.<\/p>\n<h2>13. SEO and performance<\/h2>\n<p>Nordisys may provide SEO setup, technical SEO improvements, page speed optimization, and website structure improvements.<\/p>\n<p>However, Nordisys does not guarantee specific Google rankings, traffic levels, sales, leads, or revenue. Search engine results depend on many factors outside Nordisys\u2019 control, including competition, content, backlinks, market demand, search engine changes, and ongoing marketing.<\/p>\n<p>Performance results may also vary depending on hosting, plugins, third-party scripts, images, content, and user devices.<\/p>\n<h2>14. Backups and security<\/h2>\n<p>Nordisys may set up backups, security tools, and best-practice protections when included in the project or maintenance plan.<\/p>\n<p>No website can be guaranteed to be completely secure. The client should keep access credentials safe, use strong passwords, limit administrator access, and keep services updated.<\/p>\n<p>Nordisys is not responsible for security issues caused by weak passwords, outdated third-party tools, client changes, hosting vulnerabilities, or unauthorised access outside Nordisys\u2019 control.<\/p>\n<h2>15. Ownership and intellectual property<\/h2>\n<p>After full payment has been received, the client owns the final website content and custom work created specifically for the client, unless otherwise agreed.<\/p>\n<p>Nordisys may retain ownership of reusable code, templates, processes, internal tools, know-how, design systems, and general methods used to create the work.<\/p>\n<p>Third-party plugins, themes, software, stock assets, fonts, and tools remain subject to their own licences.<\/p>\n<p>Nordisys may display completed work in its portfolio, website, social media, or marketing materials unless the client requests otherwise in writing.<\/p>\n<h2>16. Cancellations and refunds<\/h2>\n<p>If the client cancels a project after work has started, Nordisys may charge for work already completed, time spent, planning, design, development, project management, and any third-party costs.<\/p>\n<p>Upfront payments may be non-refundable once work has started, unless otherwise agreed or required by mandatory law.<\/p>\n<p>If Nordisys is unable to complete the agreed work, Nordisys may offer a partial refund based on the amount of work not completed.<\/p>\n<h2>17. Consumer rights<\/h2>\n<p>Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply under Finnish or EU law.<\/p>\n<p>If you are a consumer and purchase services from Nordisys, you may have statutory rights depending on the type of service, how the contract was made, and whether work has already started with your approval.<\/p>\n<p>Custom website design, development, and digital work may involve personalised services created specifically for the client. Any applicable cancellation or withdrawal rights will be handled according to mandatory consumer protection rules.<\/p>\n<h2>18. Limitation of liability<\/h2>\n<p>Nordisys is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, lost sales, lost data, lost business opportunities, loss of reputation, or third-party service failures.<\/p>\n<p>Nordisys\u2019 total liability for a project is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service that caused the issue, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.<\/p>\n<p>Nordisys is not responsible for problems caused by hosting providers, domain registrars, payment gateways, third-party plugins, themes, client changes, malware, expired licences, or services outside Nordisys\u2019 control.<\/p>\n<h2>19. Confidentiality<\/h2>\n<p>Nordisys will treat non-public client information, access credentials, business information, and project materials as confidential.<\/p>\n<p>The client should not share sensitive passwords through unsecured channels. Where possible, temporary user accounts or secure access methods should be used.<\/p>\n<h2>20. Communication<\/h2>\n<p>Project communication is usually handled by email, website form, video call, project management tool, or other agreed communication channel.<\/p>\n<p>The client is responsible for providing timely feedback and approvals. Delays in communication may delay the project timeline.<\/p>\n<h2>21. Disputes<\/h2>\n<p>If a problem occurs, both parties agree to first try to resolve the issue through clear written communication.<\/p>\n<p>These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, unless mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.<\/p>\n<p>If the client is a consumer, the client may also have the right to contact the Finnish Consumer Advisory Services and, if necessary, refer the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board.<\/p>\n<h2>22. Changes to these terms<\/h2>\n<p>Nordisys may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The latest version will be available on the Nordisys website.<\/p>\n<p>For active projects, the terms agreed at the time of the accepted quote or proposal will usually apply unless both parties agree otherwise.<\/p>\n<h2>23.
